Dehydrated potatoes are convenient to store and prepare. They are lightweight, do not require refrigeration and can be prepared in an easy one-step process.
High quality potatoes - peeled, cut into strips and dried.
Use 1 part potato sticks + 3 parts water.
DOSAGE: 5-25% to flour
SUGGESTED USES: - soups and stews - casseroles such as scalloped potatoes or au gratin potatoes - hash browns - potato bread/ potato baguette / potato-bacon pie - in baking (improves fresh-keeping of dough and batters)
Depending on the recipe they can be used right out of the package, or quickly re-hydrated. The rehydrate cover with boiling water and let sit for 30mins or let simmer until product is tender (approximately 10 minutes).
